A new strike day at Airbus is on its way tomorrow:
workers and executives do not accept that EADS is keeping German sites within its perimeter and still wants to proceed with the sale of French sites, such as Meaulte and Saint-Nazaire. Representatives will meet Fabrice Bregier. Jean-Francois Knepper, from French union Force Ouvriere, said Mr. Bregier would give his feeling about the ongoing crisis, would listen to unions’ claims and would give answers. In the meantime, Thomas Enders firmly said that he was not impressed by the strike, and that statement was not appreciated by Airbus unions. They have warned that, unless Fabrice Bregier gives signs of open-mindedness, the strike will get tougher. Although EADS keeps saying that the sale of German sites will go on, French unions do not believe it.
