Bombardier Learjet 85 Aircraft Composite Structure Manufacturing to Take Place at Querétaro Facility

Today, corporate aviation leader Bombardier announced its facility in Querétaro, Mexico will manufacture the 2_learjet85_lrcomposite structure for its all-new, state-of-the-art Learjet 85 business jet. The Querétaro site will also manufacture the electrical harness and perform sub-assembly systems installation. (more…)

Airbus is concerned about possible aircraft order cancellations as oil prices keep surging.

US low-cost airline JetBlue Airways confirmed its plan to postpone the delivery schedule for 21 A320 planes by five yearsa320-1 “in the face of escalating kerosene costs”, said its CEO, Dave Barger, yesterday. Airbus chief commercial officer John Leahy commented that other postponements of the kind could be expected, hitting the A320 family in particular. (more…)

Boeing officially postponed plans to develop a successor for its 737 single-aisle model by several years. EADS plans to appoint a Chief Compliance Officer

EADS plans to appoint a Chief Compliance Officer who will be independent and have direct access to the board of directors, confirmed Tom Randell, a London-based external spokesman for EADS.
