Marwan Lahoud could become the next CEO of the aerospace group
Handelsblatt features a portrait of Marwan Lahoud, EADS’s chief of strategy, calling him a “mastermind”. The German newspaper considers that Mr Lahoud could even become the next CEO of the aerospace group as he is currently dealing with all of its most important issues: the Airbus plant sales, additional purchases in the US and the extension of the defence business. He has also proven to be a “clever strategist” by staying out of the French-German power struggles at EADS. Mr Lahoud assesses that, “when it comes to problems, EADS’s strength –being an international company- easily turns out to be a deficiency”. Still, he points out, “eight years from now, nobody will consider the company a French-German group anymore, but an international one”. Handelsblatt
