Increasing demand for composites from Airbus and Boeing is poised to boost British engineering group Umeco. The company yesterday posted a 20% rise in full-year pre-tax profits, saying its composites business had largely benefited from strong demand from the civil aerospace market, which boasts record order backlogs.
