Saudi Arabian Airlines said it had agreed to purchase eight Airbus A330s and 12 Boeing 787s to replace older, less fuel-efficient aircraft. The deal is valued at $ 3.2Bn, but no schedule has been unveiled for a firm contract signature. The planes will be delivered from 2012 through 2014, said the airline’s managing director.
