German engineering group Diehl said it was planning to expand the facility and would not cut jobs there
German engineering group Diehl, which took over EADS’s aircraft components plant in Laupheim in partnership with Thales, said it was planning to expand the facility and would not cut jobs there. CEO Thomas Diehl told reporters in Nuremberg that the Laupheim site, which employs 1,100 people, will be managed as an independent unit within the Diehl group. The company also supplies aircraft interior equipment to Boeing. AFX (01/07), Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, Financial Times Deutschland, Suddeutsche Zeitung
