He warned that the company was preparing for a “sustained period of low dollar”. The US currency traded near a record low against the euro yesterday, raising concern the US economic slowdown will deepen. The EADS share fell 1.36%, to €12.32, and its value has lost 43% since January, hurt in part because the strong euro cut the value of Airbus’s dollar-written aircraft orders.
